It was reported this week that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) retrieved multiple White House record boxes last month from former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. The records had not been turned over to NARA in accordance with the Presidential Records Act which requires administrations to document and maintain records of the White House decision-making process. These reports immediately led to speculation that perhaps some pieces of White House furniture were also taken by the man with a robust acquisitive nature. Though this is only an unfounded theory, it does lead a person to wonder what else the Trumpster left office with.

All one must do is tune in the national news to find skepticism about CDC guidelines for healthy living and avoid death in the ongoing pandemic. It's no longer possible for millions to believe changing guidelines after Trump dismantled CDC, lied about his own Covid19 infection and shed doubt on science and medicine without merit.
As anyone familiar with public works knows from planning and zoning commission operations and local capital budgets, it takes months, even years for 'shovel ready' construction to get beyond surveying and publicity. Though not the first to criticize government funding of State and local needs, Trump and his GOP (known as Gaslight Opposition People) don't want new public works projects to materialize and provide Democrats with improvements to campaign on for elections, either 2022 or 2024. So expect increasing mudslinging about slow starting road, bridge, port and airport renewal and construction.
Trump also stole economic credibility leaving the White House by criticizing inflation despite 'recovery' checks, continued improvement in stock and bond markets, record employment and minimal unemployment today under Biden. Hurricanes shut down refineries that increase gas prices, not closing Keystone pipeline which promised only 1800 temporary jobs. And few realize today that China tariffs don't punish the communists, only raise prices on imported goods for Americans to pay.
And despite the ongoing Putin threats to Ukraine and eastern European nations like the 3 Baltics, Poland, Romania, Armenia, Georgia and maybe Bulgaria, Trump stole the credibility of NATO and the European Union to counter Russian expansion beyond Crimea. Putin wants a return of Trump to the Oval Office so he can advance on Finland, Sweden and the aforementioned countries to reconstitute the defunct Soviet Union for 'unwarranted protection' on his western flanks. Meanwhile talks go on to reconstitute the Iran anti-nuclear deal where Trump abandoned P5+1's agreement, retrench from Saudi-led bleeding of Yemen, support Afghan women's individual and educational rights, and protect China armed attacks on Taiwan where most of our electronics have their basis in microchips produced there. Our military needs redirection to cyberwarfare and asymmetric defenses, not more planes, ships and tanks.
Only overwhelming Democratic, Independent, and disaffected Republican voting in local, state and national elections to oust Trump partisans into the foreseeable future can dim and erase the things Trump either stole from his Oval Office racketeering or sprinkled among gullible and easily led conservatives and haters across the nation and continues to foster today.
