When it comes to speaking many words and saying nothing, the former President and convicted felon is without peer, as he demonstrated in a speech at The Economic Club of New York in September.

Carnegie Mellon must be vomiting at the performance of their graduate, Donald J. Trump, every time he opens his mouth on economics or finance. Raising the national debt, blaming inflation on Democrats, bilking many vendors of their rightful payments for service/products, offering credits in a now-defunct 'university', spending Foundation donations on himself, taking illegal foreign government payments at his hotel in DC are but a few examples of his lack of 'financial' knowledge or misuse of financial concepts. It's a wonder of the planet that anybody supports this misbegotten figurehead for conservatives on anything. I just hope that Kamala's coattails are long enough to get her elected with Democratic majorities in congress to avoid the continuing travesty called legislation on Capitol Hill. That includes confirming new judges in the Senate and initiating financial legislation in the House.
Examples of MAGA supporters I know are tied to Trump insidiously: an Army contract holder who won't be cancelled by Democrats, but could lose his income source if Trump gained office; a retired mercenary who has no job or income in the States after working for Idi Amin, the murderous dictator in Uganda yet survives on Social Security and Medicare living here now which Democrats support, but which will be cancelled by MAGA in power. Another example of Trump misunderstanding in finance: putting tariffs on imported household goods, and wrongly believing they are not paid as increased prices by consumers including MAGA buyers. The guy must be defeated with all his sycophants seeking or already in office.
I cannot believe he got applause for that mouthful of incoherent thoughts.
