I’m Nic Rosato, a (sometimes) cranky old man with enough time on my hands to indulge my curiosity in issues of political theory and public policy. What, I ask myself, are the most effective ways to organize a society of 330 million persons to allow as many of them as possible to live in peace and harmony? Having a degree in American History, I tend towards the view that the experiences of the past offer perspectives on the present.
